Curves
Poem

Curves

Sometimes I curve into parentheses(Just so the words won’t escape out of place) Sometimes I bent my backAnd twist myself to become the question mark ?That is placed after every interrogation you put before me Sometimes I bent in line with the linesAnd become a comma,In a complete dilemma of what comes next And at times I curl myself under a period ;To become a semi colonSo I escape from termination. And the reality,Both together ! Philosophy of yearning
Poem

Philosophy of yearning

Buds sprout freshly longing to bloom Birds chirp ecstatically flying around Students enjoy blithely and merrily In the campus I happened to be at. Vicinity abounded with greeneryAttracts the youth get into the city of knowledge Lovebirds with warm-heartedness Yell with pleasure and chit-chat, Teachers lecturing on the podium. Students remain absent-minded Roam around placing the physical presence. Soon, span, the foe comes in between And swiftly pulled everything away. Now mere the memories alive In our hearts, and feel always To slide back into those memory lanes!   Ayisha Raniya
Wounds of a broken heart
Poem

Wounds of a broken heart

The pain I go through everydayIs now too heavy to gather upI am 'too' a humanWith the seat of affectionsI too love to have a life of my ownBut alas, that's now an idle fancy onlyRuns on in an idle vagary.Your Overbearing prideYour arroganceCreate but only cemeteriesSome of knownAnd some unknownLeaving widowsHalf widowsThe orphansThe forgotten mournersBehind them to mourn overThe shards of broken memories.     Sayar Ahmed Mir
